Evening Scrimmages

Summer 2009

Dear Camper,

In celebration of 2009 being a women’s lacrosse World Cup year we are running our own little World Cup competition at our  camp. Everyone will be on a team named after a country wearing the uniform colors of those countries. Instead of giving you those institutional camp reversibles this year we’re getting you a nice female cut cotton tank top you can comfortably wear after camp.

You are responsible for fashioning a uniform to wear in your team’s colors. So get on the internet and do a little research to see if a national team’s uniform colors match their flag or not. For example, the Australian uniform does not match their country flag.

Come to camp ready to sport your country uniform colors for our evening scrimmages. The girl who is judged by the coaching staff to have the most patriotic look for her garb will win a tuition to one of our winter camps. You can use arm bands, head bands, skirts of the right color, painted t-shirts, face paint, etc. to create your look!
